  • Bio
    Stephen DiFranco is our new HP WW SMB segment sales executive under Sue Barsamian in the WW indirect team. He is responsible for building HP EG’s next generation business model to accelerate growth in small & medium customers though our partners, e-tailers and with new go to market models. His goal is to create an SMB engine to dramatically increase share, revenues & margins for HP EG.
    Previously Stephen served as vice president of the Enterprise Group Indirect Channel Organizations in the Americas, overseeing HP's Alliance, OEM, VAR, VAD and Cloud Partner Groups. In this role, he was responsible for the HP Servers, Technology Services, Networking and Storage Groups' Channel Execution throughout the Americas. Prior to that he served in HP's Personal Systems Group (PSG) Americas team where he led category management, operations and marketing for HP's largest region, including 1600 sales professionals and 800 team members in manufacturing and operations.
    A twenty plus year channel veteran, Stephen joined HP in 2010 as vice president of the company’s Solution Partners Organization (SPO) for the Americas, where he led all aspects of sales, marketing and account management with the channel; overseeing all partnerships for HP’s client computing and printing businesses, as well as the industry leading PartnerOne partner program that drive continued growth for HP partners throughout Canada, the United States and Latin America.
    Prior to HP, Stephen served as vice president of consumer and commercial channels for North America at Lenovo, a role for which he managed the company’s channel business in the United States and Canada. He also previously served as corporate vice president of consumer sales and marketing at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). DiFranco has held leadership positions at Maxtor Corporation, WebGain, Inc., and Iomega’s professional products and business division, as well as a variety of senior marketing positions in the consumer, industrial and professional divisions at Sony Electronics.
    Stephen graduated from Montclair State University with degrees in Speech, Theatre and Broadcasting. He speaks frequently at industry events and has published a number of papers including ''Creating a Marketing Ruler,'' ''Five Degrees of Channel Separation,'' and ''The War is in the Store...How to Create Brands in Retail.''
    Stephen lives with his family in San Mateo, California.
