    Scott Fluegge joined JDL Technologies in 2011 as Vice President and General Manager, and was promoted to President and General Manager in September 2013, as part of an overall management restructuring of the parent company, Communications Systems Inc.
    Founded in 1981, CSI is a publicly-traded company (NASDAQ-GM: JCS) headquartered in Minnetonka, Minnesota, employing more than 400 people across three business units: JDL Technologies, Transition Networks, and Suttle. CSI revenues in 2014 were more than $119 million.
    JDL Technologies provides information technology solutions, including managed IT services, to the fourth and sixth largest public school systems in the U.S. as well as to a broad spectrum of businesses in South Florida. The Company was founded in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, more than 15 years ago.
    In his executive role at JDL Technologies, Mr. Fluegge leverages his exceptional skills in strategic planning, business development, and customer relationship management with the objective of expanding the business throughout Florida and the Southeast.
    He is responsible for a staff of 40, the majority engineers, technicians and technology specialists who collectively possess more than 300 years of technical experience and 135 professional certifications. Mr. Fluegge is a proven team leader who inspires individuals to contribute their technical and personal best to meet the needs of the Company and its clients.
    Prior to joining JDL Technologies, Mr. Fluegge served as Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of Operations for GSS America/GSS Infotech, a public company, where he was responsible for building market-leading software products and global service delivery channels leveraging outsourcing and blended-shore strategies. He instituted process improvements and innovations that increased profit margins from 18 percent to 26 percent and above, and achieved CMMI Level 3 certification for the organization. As CIO he also established a highperformance technology infrastructure that effectively supported the Company’s complex global business needs. In addition to his tenure at the Minneapolis Development Center, Mr. Fluegge spent two years at GSS global headquarters in Hyderabad, India.
    Prior to GSS, Mr. Fluegge was Director of Development for Infospectrum Consulting, a global software product development and technology services enterprise. Through his unique combination of project management and talent management skills, he helped develop the Company from a team of two to a $15 million organization in six years. Infospectrum was acquired by GSS Infotech in 2006.
    Mr. Fluegge’s earliest position was as Senior Systems Administrator for Venator Group, originally incorporated in 1905 as F.W. Woolworth & Co.
    Mr. Fluegge holds a Masters in Management Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin and has earned ITIL v2 Foundation and Trainer certifications.
