You will choose one of two starter projects to build live: a weekly dinner meal planner that takes dietary needs, budget, allergies, and prep time and turns them into a plan and grocery list, or a household management app that keeps cleaning, maintenance, finances, and family responsibilities on one shared calendar. Pick whichever problem is more real for you right now; both teach the exact same skill. You will leave with a working app you built yourself and the confidence to keep going on your own.

What You Will Learn

In 30 minutes, you will learn:

1. What vibe coding actually is: describing what you want in plain English and watching an AI tool build the working software, and why this is now a real way to build things, not a gimmick.
2. How to write a starting prompt that gives Lovable enough direction to generate a usable first version of your app, rather than a vague one that produces something unusable.
3. How to think in screens and features before you type anything: what your app needs to ask the user, what it needs to show back, and why that order matters.
4. How to iterate: how to look at what Lovable builds, tell it what to fix or change in your own words, and watch it update the app in front of you.
5. What is happening under the hood in simple terms: that your app has a real database and login system behind it (through Lovable’s built in Supabase connection), so you understand what you built, not just that it appeared.
6. How to keep building after the session: what to try next on your own app, and how to avoid the most common beginner mistake, trying to build every feature at once instead of one thing that works first.

By the end, you will have an app on your screen that you built, and a repeatable process you can use to build the next one.
